The Coach Personas
9 fully voice-acted coach personas that talk you through your workout.
English
Intense, no-nonsense motivation. Badass basketball coach energy: think Coach Carter meets Nick Fury.
Your hyped-up gym bro. Will lisp-yell at you to add plates.
The scientific coach. Explains the why behind every set in RPE, periodization, and telemetry.
Warm, encouraging energy. Turns every rep into a meditation and every mile into a lesson.
Law enforcement meets leg day. Speaks in third person. Uses law enforcement metaphors exclusively.
French
Military precision. Every rep is an order.
Elegant but firm. Grace meets accountability.
The physics of performance. Thermodynamics applied to your squat.
Your enthusiastic buddy. Boundless energy, questionable form cues.
What Makes AddFive Different
Most fitness apps handle one thing well. A running app tracks runs. A gym app logs lifts. A HIIT timer counts intervals. AddFive handles progression across all of them in one place.
The idea is simple: progressive overload is not just about adding plates to a barbell. It is about doing a little more each time, period. That applies to running faster, holding a harder plank variant, or surviving an extra HIIT round. AddFive automates that decision for every type of training.
The voice coaching is not a text-to-speech layer. These are fully produced characters with personality. The barbell plate visualizer solves the surprisingly common problem of standing in front of a rack doing mental math at 6am.
No account, no cloud sync, no social features. It is a tool for people who want to show up, train, and go home.

About the Developer
AddFive is built by Matthieu Veinhard, a laser physicist (PhD) and competitive powerlifter based in Bordeaux, France. He competes raw in the 93 kg class under the French Powerlifting Federation (FFForce/IPF), with competition PRs of 180 kg squat, 107.5 kg bench, and 175 kg deadlift for a 452.5 kg total.
He built AddFive for himself first. Existing fitness apps either ignored progression altogether, handled only one type of training, or buried the useful parts under social features he did not need. As someone who trains barbell strength, runs, and does HIIT in the same week, he wanted a single app that would tell him exactly what to do next across all of it.
